First day of school

Malarie and Justin started school on August 6th. Justin was sooo excited to meet new friends and his teacher. Justin is one of the tallest kids in his class. Both kids are doing very well so far. Malarie is looking into joining FFA while Justin has lost his two front bottom teeth. He loves to show the empty place off to EVERYONE! Avarie is still doing well. Justin works hard everyday to earn a skittle from his teacher. If the kids have a good day without getting their name on the board they get a skittle at the end of the day. Justin is slowly figureing out how to earn his skittle for the day. He gets very upset when he hasn't had such a good day. I am slowly catching up on blogging and posting pictures. Most of you know that my sister Kim is in the Air Force. She and her Husband, Hank, will be deployed over seas in the next couple weeks. I will post an address for them as soon as I get one. I would ask for you to pray for them to be safe on their journey. It was great getting to see and spend time with them. God Bless, The Flohn Farm

HERE SHE IS !!

Introducing Avarie Jean Flohn... She was born July 29th at 737am. She weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces and measured 18 1/2 inches long. She is a wonderful baby! She is sleeping throughthe night already. Sorry it has taken so long to post something about her birth but I kept having technical difficulties whenever I tried to post a new entry. Hopefully this time it will work. Malarie and Justin love their new baby sister. Both are doing very well in school so far. Hope this finds you all well..God Bless... The Flohn Farm

21 Hours To Go

Hello everyone. Well tomorrow is the BIG day! We are so excited to finally meet our little girl. This will be the last time you see me pregnant with Avarie Jean. The next updates will be pictures of our precious little bundle of joy. I wish Grandma could have been here for this important day, but I know that she will be looking down on us to make sure that everything goes just fine. It was really strange not sharing my birthday with her this year. I can't remember a year when we didn't have a combined birthday party. I am thankful to have those memories of her to pass on.

Today I am going around getting all the last minute things completed for the next week. I am thankful to have the help and support of my family since Ray will unfortunately have to return to work after just three days off. Tomorrow morning we have to be at the hospital between four-thirty and five am. The c-section is schedueled for seven am. It should be a very busy morning and not to mention exciting. I am getting a little nervous about the procedure but do not expect any complications. I will talk to you all later and send out updates as soon as I can, God Bless, The Flohn Farm

13 Days To Go!

Avarie will be here in 13 days! I can"t wait to see what she looks like. Her room is very much ready for her arrival. It is done in a horse theme with a little John Deere thrown in of course. Avarie loves to move around all the time. I'm pretty sure that my insides are bruised up from her tumbling and ty-bo classes she holds by herself. I have a feeling that she will be just as active outside as she has been inside. Avarie gets the hiccups almost after every meal. I hope this doesn't mean that she will be a gassy baby. (Just like Daddy!) Malarie and Justin are getting really excited about their new baby sister. Ray still thinks HE is having a baby. But I think everyone knows who does all the work! I am very excited to see my sister and brother-in-law soon. We will be blessed to be able to see and spend time with them before their deployment overseas. I am getting a little nervous about the c-section but I have a wonderful doctor and I know that I am in good hands. I can't wait to see how Ray handles the yuck of the delivery. He doesn't do too well with those sort of things. We have also added to our "Farm" 2 ducks and a new kitten who is about 4 weeks old. Justin has named her "Sparkle". Our White Leghorn hen has been laying for about 1 month. The eggs are about half the size you get in the store but they taste great! Justin and Malarie love going out to check for her egg daily. The brown hens haven't started laying yet. I expect them to start once it cools down a little. Production is usually less in the summer and more in the winter. GROWING UP

Well today I registred Justin for this coming school year. I got all choked up at the thought of him being old enough to start school. (Ray laughs at me.) I am excited for Justin to move on and start learning new things, making new friends and having home work (which he is excited about!). School starts August 6th. Avarie will be here August 1st! We will be very busy with all the new adjustments that week. Malarie will be going into the 8th grade, and that means in 1 year she will be going into HIGH SCHOOL!!! Not to mention, I still will have an Externship and Graduation to complete after all gets settled at home. As I always say ...NEVER a dull moment at the Flohn Farm. It will be nice to have the all day Kindergarden with a new baby at home. I will be going to work after a little while at home. Just a quick reminder...10 WEEKS TIL THE NEW ARRIVAL!!! Big Wind

Tuesday we had a big wind rip through or yard. It picked up Justins' trampoline and threw it 2 yards south of us. Mangling and twisting the frame beyond repair. It also picked up his wooden play set and moved it up and over a trailer into the next door neighbors yard. Justin was not pleased at this event. Now we have alot of firewood and an extra bottom for a trampoline. Fortunately no one was hurt. An eye wittness (neighbor) said the trampoline was at least 30 feet in the air and for about 1-2 minutes!!! FLY AWAY! BEEEE FREEE!!! I have a picture of the trampoline and many other pictures to share but still haven't found out how to do it. (Kristen, I'll call you later this week) I finally got of the list as a spam blog now, I can write more often. Never a dull moment out here at the Flohn Farm! Our new bundle of joy will be here in 11 weeks. WOW! Can you believe that? We have been working on Avaries' room and hopefully it will be finished before she gets here. Still have to furnish and put up the wallpaper border. More to come....
